I saw this in my inbox as I was leaving the house this afternoon:
It made me cringe, and almost ruined what should have been a fun trip to the dog pound. It was the subject line from an email that Holt Renfrew sent me. Now Holts, let me make something clear. I like getting your updates, because I like to know what lovely things you are getting into store. But never send Ugg boots info to my inbox again. Never suggest to me that I may want to reserve a pair of Uggs in advance, as this will never be the case. And even worse, don’t fill my inbox with promotions for $800 Ugg boots co-designed by the WAG’s footwear company. Gross.
UGG by Jimmy Choo. $800 a pair. A total rip off, and possibly the most hideous boot I have ever seen in my life.
On that note, I’d like to direct my new readers to a post I wrote a few months ago about Ugg’s. As this was (sadly) my finest piece of writing, I thought I’d share it all with you again.
