This show had some stunning pieces in it, notably the great jackets and coats, which were beautifully cut and show Sarah Burton’s ability to stick to the Alexander McQueen handwriting, yet move it forward a little by injecting her own signature. A few of the designs, however, felt like they were trying a bit too hard, including a blanket coat which closely resembled what a homeless man would wear. But otherwise a fantastic collection with lots of very strong, serious pieces.
I love…
I loathe…
