Christian Dior Haute Couture Spring Summer 2011

What’s not to love about Christian Dior Haute Couture? It feels like they are the only brand that truly does couture in the way you’d expect, each and every garment feels like a fairy tale fantasy piece. Which is what you’d want when dresses cost upwards of $20,000. What’s not to love? Aside from the fact that I’ll never be able to afford it.

I love…

a very "traditional" couture silhouette.

the cascading neckline and sleeves of this stunning top.

the tones, the movement, and the drapes of this dress.

I just love the way tones and gradients were used in this collection. It’s both graceful and fresh.

I think I’ll be dreaming about this collection for weeks. Love, love, love it. Where is that winning lottery ticket when you need it.

I agree, Alexandra – Just gorgeous! And, finally, Galliano is back to creatively exhilarating clothes that may actually be WEARABLE the right debuttante, billionaire, etc… In fact, I think this couture collection may be more “wearable” thank many of his previous RTW collections! :-)
