Dior Homme Autumn Winter 2011

Well I accidentally posted photos of Dior Homme Autumn Winter 2010 show (thanks GQ, for putting the wrong photos up) but the correct one has a similar review. It is a bit boring. Lots of pants that have way too much volume at the crotch, suits that are slim but not nicely fitted in the Hedi Slimane way, and poncho-style jackets that look silly. I thought Kris Van Assche was getting it together, after last season, but now I am having doubts. I think they need some new blood in there, not Slimane, not Van Assche, but someone NEW.

    This is AW2010 you’re reviewing, dummy. GQ.com screwed it up. AW2011 has a whole different setting and colours (incl/ red)

    I scrolled down for a bit and thought to myself “At least he’s not doing those bloomer looking pants….” And then I hit the last two pictures.

    Also, just a small site issue but your category pages aren’t linked properly — I wanted to see more of the posts in “Pretty Pictures” but clicking on Pretty Pictures or Catwalk Reviews & Fashion Weeks, etc. just leads me back to the homepage.

    Yeah, I know. The category situation is really annoying me, my designer has been trying to work it out for ages, it is screwed up because I changed my permalinks in december. But thanks for flagging it! My agent is on it now. You can find the other Pretty Pictures by using the search…

    And yes, the Dior diaper pants suck.
