Dolce & Gabbana Menswear Autumn Winter 2011

I am guessing Dolce & Gabbana sell a lot of menswear, that is the only rational explanation for showing 85 looks on the catwalk, most of which were repetitive. But they cut a mean suit and this collection was a great balance of commercial and fashion forward pieces. But like Burberry, there were a few too many of these Camden town indie boy looks from ten years ago.

I love…

Dolce & Gabbana, menswear, Dolce & Gabbana menswear, autumn winter 2011, fall 2011, menswear catwalks, fashion shows, menswear prints

ridiculous prints that only Dolce & Gabbana can get away with.

Dolce & Gabbana, menswear, Dolce & Gabbana menswear, autumn winter 2011, fall 2011, menswear catwalks, fashion shows

typical Dolce & Gabbana: traditional menswear with a few interesting details to make it stand out, Italian style.

a red three piece suit.

I loathe…

Dolce & Gabbana, menswear, Dolce & Gabbana menswear, autumn winter 2011, fall 2011, menswear catwalks, fashion shows, indie rock, indie style, trilby hats

dated indie-rocker looks. Trilby hats need to be retired for at least ten years.

Dolce & Gabbana, menswear, Dolce & Gabbana menswear, autumn winter 2011, fall 2011, menswear catwalks, fashion shows, naked guys

catwalk looks that are the blatant showing off of a well-formed body. I'm here to see the clothes.

Dolce & Gabbana, menswear, Dolce & Gabbana menswear, autumn winter 2011, fall 2011, menswear catwalks, fashion shows, New Kids on the Block

outfits that are a bit too New Kids on the Block.

that while these short tailored jackets were quite hip and new, I was completely bored by then after having to see the same one over and over again.
