This Valentino show was full of light, floaty evening dresses with sheer fabrics, cascading ruffles, and delicate floral prints. It looked beautiful, but it also looked boring. I don’t think the current creative directors are suited to design couture. They came from an accessories background, and while I think that many design skills are transferable, I don’t think they have what it takes to design Valentino couture. What do you think?
I love…
