What’s wrong with this Burberry collection? It is as if creative director Christopher Bailey took inspiration from his previous collections, rather than looking at something new. The bright colours are reminiscent of the neon accents from the last collection. The coat fabrics and ugly hats are straight off the menswear catwalk. Is Bailey too busy tweeting to actually bother to design? Don’t get me wrong, there are many beautiful coats in this collection, and I’d wear a lot of them. But Burberry is supposed to be a fashion brand and sell us a lifestyle, not just a place you can pick up a great coat for $5,000.
I love…
I loathe…

trying to mix too many materials in one garment and ending up with something that looks like a mistake.
