Dolce & Gabbana Autumn Winter 2011

Dolce & Gabbana did a sort of male/female theme for this show, showing a lot of sexy dresses, and as a contrast,  a lot of men’s tailoring influences. It almost felt like a “best of” Dolce & Gabbana’s dresses, without the leopard print. The dresses were tight and sexy, or sheer and flowing, and despite the fact that they aren’t particularly new, they look good. The men’s suits, on the other hand, were overdone, and not very flattering. And unfortunately most of the show seemed to be about the tailoring, which just didn’t impress me. And also, 80+ looks is just way too much for a fashion show.

I love…

the stars theme in this show.

these pretty, flowing dresses.

I loathe…

over-designing a suit jacket.
