It makes me so happy to know that looking a fashion show online can still get me so excited that my heart rate goes up. Donna Karan‘s autumn winter 2011 collection was the best so far, and I am sure will be one of the strongest of the season. The combination of society woman dresses and tailoring with texture contrasts and interesting drapes was perfected with the styling, the models looked sickly and almost ghostlike. Her use of fur (a great F you to the PETA protestors planning on setting up camp outside her NYC offices) was done in such a unique way, using it as oversized hems on sleeves or as wrist warmers (is that even a word?) Anyway, it is just beautiful. Take a look for yourself.
