Marc Jacobs Autumn Winter 2011
I feel very lukewarm about this collection. There were items I loved, and a few I loathed, but generally I wasn’t sure if it was great or not. It feels very Marc Jacobs, that’s for sure, but I don’t feel it captures the zeitgeist of the moment. It feels like he was just having fun for himself.

this cocoon-shaped jacket.
the slick, elegant cut of this suit. But the boots suck.
a perfect sheer sleeve.
this gorgeous little bomber.
the fabric of this dress...it looks a little tacky, doesn't it?
that this looks like something a 60 year old should be wearing.

these extravagant, textured pieces. I like the shapes, but I also think it looks a bit tacky. Thoughts?
