Prada Autumn Winter 2011

Milan, you are on a role! I have only seen three shows so far and I am already in love. Like Gucci and Fendi, Prada was a coat-fest AND a fur-fest. And while all three shows had their weaknesses, I can see so many great trends we will be adopting next season. Prada’s best bits were the gorgeous, low-waisted coats and the giant sequined evening wear. I am getting excited for fall, I just need to find a few thousand dollars to buy my wardrobe. Or a few hundred thousand.

I love…

those lovely sleeves, boots that look like shoes with socks, and the new way to carry your handbag.

Prada's version of a check coat (take that, Burberry!)

the giant fox scarf tucked into your belt.

a cocoon-shaped snakeskin coat, which is a nice change from the usual fitted snakeskin coats.

serious sequins: big and in abundance.

I loathe…

then Prada does those weird colour combinations that are pretty tacky.

anything that reminds me of Sesame Street.
