Tommy Hilfiger Autumn Winter 2011

For me, the highlights of the Tommy Hilfiger show was the knitwear and the variations on the duffle coats. I loved the chunky cables, full knit ensembles, and knit pieces with duffle coat detailing. The weak points were definitely the grey tailored suits, which looked incredibly boring and completely off brand. Starting the show off with a grey, double-breasted suit makes you think you walked into the Armani show instead. And can someone tell Tommy that silk pyjamas aren’t very nice on the catwalk? Or at least, his aren’t.

I love…

this shiny blue coat.

tons of great variations on the duffle coat.

I loathe…

a hideously boring way to open a Tommy Hilfiger show.

scary combinations of prints.
