If you are a wealthy seventy year old woman who likes to dress her age, then this collection is for you. But if not, you are out of luck. It is rare that I completely dislike a Chanel collection, but I really couldn’t find anything to love here. The tailoring was heavy, with big shoulders and too many peplums, the eveningwear was tacky and often looked like interpretations of bad eighties prom dresses, and there was none of the light, intricate, flattering pieces we come to expect from Chanel.
I love… nothing. Sad face.
