Jean Paul Gaultier always seems to have fun with his collections, in terms of the models he chooses, the over-the-top designs, and the extravagant production. This show combined all the things you want to see in couture: feather, fur, embroidery, full skirts, evening gown, trains, and slick tailoring. My only complaints were that a few outfits looked far to plain for couture, and I did not like his menswear at all. But I haven’t featured that here, I tend to ignore menswear in womenswear shows as it annoys me. And Jean Paul Gaultier‘s menswear was extra annoying: I don’t like lace, trains, and feathers on my men.
I love…
I loathe…
