Love: Triumph Inspiration Award

Triumph award, lingerie, student work

Here are some of the finalists for the Triumph Inspiration Award, a competition that asks students to come up with a unique lingerie showpiece. It is so rare that we get to see avant garde or incredibly creative lingerie. Lingerie is a very commercial product and we don’t often get to see crazy press pieces because there are no big lingerie fashion shows (aside from Victoria’s Secret’s tacky show) and celebrities don’t wear crazy lingerie on the street (well, respectable ones don’t, or at least, we don’t see it.)

Lingerie is a product that is frequently bought for replacement, which is a rare phenomenon in fashion. Imagine if we bought shoes for replacement? I’d never need another pair of shoes for as long as I lived. Anyway, well done to Triumph for encouraging lingerie creativity, here are a few of the finalists from the competition.
