While this Donna Karan show had all of the expected positives (an classic colour palette of browns, tans and blacks, elegant silhouettes, fashionable pieces that aren’t overly trendy), there were a number of bodycon dresses that seemed totally out of place. They were sexy and fabulous, but looked like they had been copied from Christopher Kane’s earlier collections. Maybe I am being too harsh, but those pieces just didn’t feel right. Other than that, the full skirts, the off the shoulder necklines, and some of the geometric lines and straps made for some beautiful pieces.
I love…
I loathe…
