Here we go…spring summer 2012 coverage begins!
I usually love Jason Wu‘s collections because he is a modern, young Oscar de la Renta, dressing the society girls in classic, elegant, dresses that feel somehow young. But this collection featured a slew of high waisted hot pants, and not only am I bored to death of them, but they just don’t suit his brand. This, combined with the fact that a few of his pieces resembled Giambattista Valli’s work, resulted in a weaker than usual collection. But there were still quite a few of his beautiful dresses and separates.

high waisted hot pants. We have seen enough of them over the past few years.
