Love: YSL Leopard Print Accessories

Yves Saint Laurent, YSL, fall winter 2011, designer handbags, leopard printIt annoys me when leopard print is labelled as a fashion trend, because as far as I am concerned it has never been out of fashion. It is just there, more popular some seasons than others, but never completely out of style. I really love the leopard print in Yves Saint Laurent‘s fall winter 2011 accessory collection, it seems to be slightly bolder and brighter than a typical leopard print. This is making me crave some leopard print, which is something I own very little of… maybe a fall purchase to consider. I’d certainly be happy with one of these bags!

Yeah, but I think I need to get one. (An ipad, not a designer case…)

i can’t believe the ipad happened/is happening. and you can’t possibly get an ipod and not get a super chic designer ipad case!!!!!!!!

You joke, Jasper, but at least ipad owners have the option.  Designers ONLY make beautiful cases for ipads!  Ooh, it’s so frustrating!  I have a big, beautiful laptop that I use to, you know, earn my living.  Must I schlep it around in a nylon case?  Really – I’ve found one leather sleeve from Longchamp that is halfway decent; that is the only one.   The rest is neoprene (shudder) and nylon (gag).

I didn’t think I was terribly unfashionable for using a regular (non-tablet) laptop, but apparently designers think I am?

Well, some designers make stylish laptop cases for other Apple computers, but forget it if you have a PC. Although I don’t know why you’d want one of those. :-) Alexandra Suhner Isenberg

Ha – I actually have a Sony Vaio that was literally a quarter of the price of the equivalent MacBook Pro.  A quarter of the price, and it has the same specs.  And mine looks good!  Who would waste money on an Apple???  :D

(and I’ve only been able to find nice cases for the 13-inch Macs [ie Mulberry's Bayswater laptop bag], not for 15-16 inch…)

I was kidding… Apple is a rip off. But I’ve never owned anything else, I can’t stand the OS of a PC. Although I don’t buy their phone, Blackberry is for serious people.
