Richard Nicoll Spring Summer 2012

This Richard Nicoll collection featured lots of gorgeous soft pastels and layers of sheer fabrics, which worked great with his signature long, lean, silhouettes and the newer round, babydoll shapes. There were lots of great mini dresses or tunics (depends on how you want to wear them) but the tube dresses with the boned rings were a bit too space age for me, they resembled something a fashion student might try and make.

I love…

this sheer black tunic and the way it looks over the patterned trousers.

I loathe…

this sheer tube dress with the boned hoops. Looks like bad fashion student garments.
