Jean Paul Gaultier Spring Summer 2012

This show featured a rockabilly, tattooed version of some of Jean Paul Gaultier‘s classics: the pinstriped suits, the sexy pencil skirts, the cinching waspies, and his iconic nautical stripes. The vibe was cheeky and fun, and the lingerie at the end (which I presume is part of his LaPerla collaboration) looks smoking hot.

I love…

tattoo prints, it has been a while since we've seen these and I feel we are ready for them again.

I sincerely hope the tattoo prints go away because all they remind me of is Ed Hardy. Damnit JPG why did you have to make tattoo prints look good?

Good point, I forgot about Ed Hardy. But surely if you wear them correctly, and don’t look like a character from Jersey Shore, people won’t mistake JPG for Ed Hardy? Alexandra Suhner Isenberg
