I completely forgot I’d written this post, and so here it is, even though we are into October. Oops. Here is part 2 of my September issue cover critiques. Read part 1.
I love…

Anja, Abbey Lee, Karmen, Saskia, and Stella on the cover of Numéro. They just look frickin' awesome.

Lindsey Wixon on the cover of Purple. Yeah, yeah, I know we are all over Lindsey Wixon being photographed by Terry Richardson, but I love her big smile and the red background. It isn't typical Terry.

Angelina Jolie on the cover of Vanity Fair. Also quite predictable, but boy does she look beautiful.

Katie Fogarty on teh cover of Vogue Australia. I am not a fan of those Louis Vuitton hats, but this photo is quite striking.

Liu Wen, Fei Fei Sun, Du Juan, Shu Pei, Ming Xi, and Sui He on the cover of Vogue China. Stuning ladies in stunning dresses.

Charlotte Casiraghi on the cover of Vogue Paris. I am usualyl against putting royals on magazine covers (I am against most royals in general) but at least she doesn't look all stuffy and fancy.
I loathe…

Georgia May Jagger on the other cover of Pop. A hideous dress + a terrible haircut = a bad magazine cover.

Kate Moss on the cover of US Vogue. How come US Vogue always has this style of photography that makes the model look so...lame. What is with that Lord of the Rings dress? And haven't we seen FAR too many Vogue covers with Kate Moss? US Vogue sucks.

Stella Tennant on the cover of Vogue Italia. I know Steven Meisel likes to do weird shots, and this is the only Vogue that can get away with this sort of thing, but it just doesn't look good.
