If there was one way to describe this collection, I’d call it safe. But safe can also be beautiful, and that is also a word I’d use to describe the collection. I’m pretty sure LVMH had no intention of keeping Bill Gaytten at the helm of Dior for this long, but it doesn’t seem to be hurting them. His collection, featuring traditional Dior silhouettes including New Look-esque skirts and bar jackets, has certainly made me question whether he needs to be replaced. It would be so much easier if he just stayed where he is.
