If we remove the silly asymmetrical gangster hats and the crafty floral corsages, this show is actually quite nice. It has bold colour, which makes for a nice change from Giorgio Armani‘s palette of neutrals, and there are some looks that feel young and fresh (two words I don’t tend to associate with Armani.) On the other hand, the ridiculous amount of tailored Bermuda shorts were scary, as were some of the eighties prints. But as I always say, Armani has his business and his clients, and he doesn’t need to be super trendy to be successful.
I love…
I loathe…
