Well, it is the end of an era, and while I think that Raf has done a wonderful job at Jil Sander, I am ok that he is leaving for Dior (at least, that is what we THINK he is doing) and that Jil Sander is going back to her namesake brand. What I am not ok with is Hedi Slimane, the one trick pony (actually two trick pony: skinny pants AND shitty black and white rock-style fashion shoots) is going to YSL. But that is a story for another day.
This collection was quite predictable: beautiful, minimalist shapes, an interesting colour palette, and a play on simplicity with just the right amount of design features. A great final collection for Raf Simons at Jil Sander.
I love…
I loathe…

the shiny fabrics in this show. They didn't fit in with the rest, which were very luxurious and elegantly colourful.
