Even though we are in the middle of the fall winter collections, let’s focus on spring for a moment. I used to walk past the Walter Steiger store when I lived in Paris and worked at Sonia Rykiel, and I remember thinking the shoes always looked very grown-up and quite boring. I think the brand has changed, because I definitely would have noticed this strange curved heel that seems to play a big role in his current collection (or, maybe I was walking by the store too quickly.) I find this shape very visually pleasing, it is a heel I really love in footwear. In fact, I would say I am slightly obsessed by it. I think I need to get myself a pair of his shoes.
