If you are a Givenchy customer and you don’t like leather pants, you’ll find it tough to wear this collection, because it seemed to be all about the pleated leather pant, which was generally quite unattractive. The rest of the collection featured heavily on the equestrian references, but I felt it was all done quite wrong. The models looked neither sexy, elegant, or cool (and their makeup made them look like goths.) There were a few nice pieces, which I’ve featured here, but in general, the show was heavy and tiring. If I were to sum up my feelings of Givenchy in one sentence, I’d say I love Givenchy couture and I loathe Givenchy pret a porter.
I love…

the lingerie slip dresses at the end of this show. But three great dresses does not make up for the disaster that was the the beginning and middle of this show.
I loathe…

pleated leather pants, made to look even worse by a model who is head to toe in leather, none of it flattering or cool.
