Valentino Fall Winter 2012

Pier Paolo Piccioli and Maria Grazia Chiuri have certainly proved that they are worthy of Valentino, and if anyone still had doubts, this collection should have changed their mind. Delicate fabrics and embellishments, soft sheers or even softer leathers, and silhouettes that are the ideal balance of dainty and elegant were abundant in this show. They have done an excellent job at maintaining the Valentino handwriting but injected their own youthful, fresh signature. Not only is everything very wearable, but also very desirable, I can see this collection selling very, very well.

I love…

sheer shoulders and sleeves, that is very classy. And so much better than nipples on show.

a black leather onesie. This may look extremely chic, but it still is a black leather onesie.

I am SOOOOOO in love with that red dress: classic Valentino brought to the 00′s… I’m so glad these two were able to stay focused and bring on the youth of their talents into the experience left in the brand by Valentino.

    Good work!!
