I wrote about 1000 Flowers perfume months ago on Vitamin Daily, but I recently stepped into Lark (an awesome clothing store in Vancouver) and the shop smelt of their Reglisse Noire perfume, which was so wonderful that I thought it merited some additional coverage here on Searching for Style. I’ve mentioned before that I am obsessed with Diptyque’s Figuier perfume (which I know is predictable, but I still love it) although now I am sort of thinking I might need to change scents, or be one of those people that has two scents, because 1000 Flowers’ Reglisse Noire perfume is quite incredible. Reglisse noire means black licorice, and this scent has somehow managed to capture the smell of black licorice in a very elegant, beautiful way. And that’s all I’ll say about the smell, because it is so difficult to try and describe it. If you are at all intrigued, then I strongly suggest you step into Lark and check out the perfume, or order the sample on the 1000 Flowers website (its only $7, what have you got to lose?) It is such an amazing fragrance.
(And another great thing, the nose behind 1000 Flowers is Canadian!)
Oooh… and one more thing, for my Vancouver readers. Myself and some of my fashionable friends will be participating in Re-Fashion Vancouver this weekend! Come and buy our never or barely worn clothes on Saturday at the Roundhouse. Or, just pop in to say hi! Info here.
