When I looked at the images of this Jean Paul Gaultier show on Vogue.com, I spotted in the first sentence of the review that the runway soundtrack was Pete Doherty. And I sort of wanted to barf because he is SO five years ago, and his music stinks, and Gaultier can do better than that. Or can he? This was probably the worst show he has done in some time. There were far too many sheer dresses, far too many nipples, far too many “is that a guy or a girl?” and far too many silly costumes. Aside from a few great signature pieces, this was all show and no substance.
I love…

pouffy fur sleeves and this new take on JPG’s signature tattoo prints. (I am also sort of digging the couture hair nets.)
I loathe…
