Avshalom Gur is one of the many talented people I did the MA with at St. Martins, and I really love his work. He is a genius when it comes to simple, easy, effortless womenswear, his jersey dresses can be worn a number of ways and look good on all body types. But the thing that I’ve always been slightly obsessed with (and stupidly never bought) were his carved jade bird jewelry. This is an item that is in most of his collections (which is a good thing, as I’ll have the opportunity to buy one, one day!) and for fall winter he has done a few variations with colour, and some other shapes like keys and geometric pendants. Beautiful!
