The gold shiny seashell bag and the enamel shell jewelry in this Lanvin collection remind me of the cheap items I used to covet as a tween. Of course, Lanvin has made these look covetable, too, even though they are probably one hundred times more expensive than the ones I would have wanted twenty years ago. These pieces are also really putting me in the mood for a holiday, which sadly is not going to happen this summer (aside from four nights on the island.) We are packing up the family and heading to Sweden next summer for two or three months, so all are pennies are going to wards that (in particular, the ridiculous amount of clothing and shoes I’ll be buying.) Thankfully the weather here is beautiful, and hanging out in our giant backyard feels like a holiday most of the time.
