This isn’t a Jil Sander comeback, the situation is better explained by saying she has simply come back. And taken off where she has left off, with her signature minimal, simple shapes, slightly adapted to the current trends, but without skipping a beat. Aside from a few pieces that were too obvious a reference to Raf Simons’ work (or was this a nod?) the show was strong and right on brand. Everyone can breathe a sigh of relief now, especially Sander, who clearly still has “it”.
I love…
I loathe…

that this reminds me too much of what Raf Simons did for Jil Sander. (Although it is gorgeous, isn’t it?)
