Lanvin couldn’t be beautiful forever, so I guess I’m not surprised they finally showed a collection that was no good. It’s not hideously bad, there are still some beautiful Alber Elbaz dresses and tailoring, but the clunky silhouettes, poorly fit dresses, and unflattering shapes are far from what his customer will want to wear. Let’s just hope this is a one-off bad season, everyone is allowed one of those.
