Mulberry Spring Summer 2013

It was all about “look total” (head to toe in one colour or print) and safe, commercial pieces at this Mulberry show. While I loved some of the outerwear, I felt this show lacked the Mulberry personality (the only indicator of the brand was the bags and the dog.) The clean tailoring, badly fit leathers, and delicate floral prints on soft separates lacked the attitude we have come to expect from this British heritage brand. Nothing to see here.

I love…

florals that aren’t loud and brash.

looking chic in off white.

I loathe…

leather that is slightly too loose, or just not loose enough. Those pants are a terrible fit.

when models get plastered in print from head to toe.
