This show really surprised me, when I look at Roberto Cavalli, I expect gaudy, opulent hippy boho party girl wear, and although this collection would not displease that customer, it was a lot more elegant and pretty than usual. The colour palette of nude and white, accentuated with pops of black, peach, grass, and lime green was surprisingly chic, and the heavy embellishment looked more couture than OTT designer. Of course there was a bit of animal print and overtly sexy cut-outs, but all in all, this show demonstrates that Cavalli is not all yacht party, which is very nice to see.
I love…

a mix of nude, black, white, and grass green. Plus the combination of print and lace works beautifully here.
I loathe…
