The Chanel shows have become quite predictable lately, which I believe is a bad thing. This very long show didn’t feel new in any way, although Lagerfeld has brought a few new shapes and styles to the Chanel catwalk. Some were great, notably his heavy use of colour, the tweed bolero jackets, and some of the cute little day dresses. On the downside, there were a scary number of very boring strapless numbers, which didn’t have a place on the Chanel runway, let alone any Paris runway.
I love…
I loathe…

that the show was made too long by sticking pieces like this onto the catwalk. These could have been edited out.

outfits Elizabeth Taylor probably wore to “lounge” around the house. All we are missing is fluffy mules.
