Normally when a new creative director is hired for an old brand, they bring their own signature to the collections. But in this case it looks like Alexander Wang has taken the Balenciaga aesthetic and applied it to his brand. Which is weird, and somewhat disturbing. But otherwise, this is a gorgeous collection. If you ignore the silly fur mittens, then it is all about fantastic coats, beautiful knits, and a ton of bold draping in varying shades of grey. The whole thing looks very cosy and expensive, exactly what we all want to be wearing in the winter.
I love…
I loathe…
