Christian Dior Fall Winter 2013

If I could sum up this Christian Dior show in one word, it would be “meh.” There was certainly nothing highly offensive on the runway, but the collection wasn’t very impressive. In fact, I’d use the word boring, and I almost think that is the worst way to describe any show. There was some incredible draped pieces, with sublime volume and shapes, but a lot of so-so tailoring and dresses. I’d wear all the coats, but as for the rest, I’m less enthused. Although I did like the Roger Vivier shoe embellishments on the handbags, it is a cute nod to the brand’s heritage.

I love…

the best white coat I have ever seen.

the awesome fabric of that skirt. Me please!

I loathe…

a shapeless dress with a mediocre illustration on it.

when Dior looks like some fast fashion brand’s acrylic winter coat selection.

a few too many outfits that were “meh.”
