If I could sum up this Christian Dior show in one word, it would be “meh.” There was certainly nothing highly offensive on the runway, but the collection wasn’t very impressive. In fact, I’d use the word boring, and I almost think that is the worst way to describe any show. There was some incredible draped pieces, with sublime volume and shapes, but a lot of so-so tailoring and dresses. I’d wear all the coats, but as for the rest, I’m less enthused. Although I did like the Roger Vivier shoe embellishments on the handbags, it is a cute nod to the brand’s heritage.
