The main “concepts” in this season’s Maison Martin Margiela show are: giant long sleeves with massive cuffs, hair tucked into bands along the backs of jackets and tops, and a few poor deconstruction ideas. I loved most of the tailoring, and loathed most of the evening wear, but thankfully there was very little of the latter.

great proportions: the big sleeve and huge lapel make this jacket so interesting.
the biggest elbow patches in the world.
and the cool way the hair was tucked into bands on the back of the coats. Much better than a scrunchie.
I loathe…
that this just looks like bad deconstruction.
