Stella McCartney Fall Winter 2013

This Stella McCartney show started with a pinstripe theme that could have been promising but the cuts and silhouettes were really unflattering. I am totally confused that so many designers seem to be showing menswear coats, in menswear sizes. Why would a woman want to wear an oversized coat with giant shoulders? It looks bad. And so did most of the rest of this unimaginative show.

I love…

the pinstripe puffa.

I loathe…

a shapeless pinstripe dress that’s too big in the shoulders.

that everyone seems to be shopping in the menswear department this season.

jogging suits. Especially ones on catwalks.

really bad design ideas. Like this dress.

I’ve been asking myself that very same question for a long time…why those coats?? Why? And Stella always show a few (or too many) if them in each collection. And each time they get bigger and less flattering. Who wears them, anyways?

On a side note: I’m waiting impatiently for your Saint Laurent review. It was horrendous, don’t you think?

Ohhhhh my god, that purple dress! That DRESS?!?! Who could look at that and find it beautiful or interesting or worthy or ANYTHING redeeming?

Yes, it was a terrible collection! My Saint Laurent review is up!

Blah, I hate those stripes. I think they don’t look neither on men, nor on women lol.
I liked some of the dresses with the elastic in the end, but definitely this one here was not a favorite.
