Coconut oil is an amazing, inexpensive beauty product with multi purposes and a magnificent smell. I use it to moisturize the skin on my body, but I’ve heard it is great for hair and you can eat it, too. Remember how so many people talk about how beauty products should be good enough to eat? Well, coconut oil is exactly that. The only downside is that it starts to solidify at around 24 degrees, so sometimes in winter, application involves a bit of scraping and melting the product in your hands before use. You can find organic, virgin coconut oil at most health food stores, and I usually buy this brand (Barlean’s) which has never disappointed.
