“You wrap the band around your midsection. This action creates compression in your core, stimulating thermal activity and ramping up perspiration. This process allows toxins and impurities to exit the skin, while mobilizing fat cells. Put simply, the band helps ensure that your workout is working for you.”
I know for a fact that wrapping a latex corset around your midsection is not going to “mobilize” fat cells, unless “mobilize” means “squish into oblivion inside a corset.” And the part about sweating more, or “stimulating thermal activity,” is not very useful, as it only covers a small part of your waist. You’d be better off working out in a snowsuit. So this thing seems like a total farce to me.
And the worst part is the imagery. If this is “workout” gear, why is the model wearing a push up bra and a g-string? Wouldn’t she have been better off photographed in a sports bra and shorts – items which are actually considered workout gear?
As far as making your “workout work for you” – I think you’d be better off having a great set of exercises, doing them properly, frequently, and having a healthy diet. That’s more likely to be effective than having a sweaty midsection because you’re wearing a latex corset on the treadmill.
