Here is part 2 of my loves and loathes of the 2013 September issue covers. Read Part 1.
Natalia Vodianova by Jean-Baptiste Mondino for Harper’s Bazaar UK. She’s hot and I like her Dior dress.
Liu Wen (and a bunch of other girls, there were several different covers) by Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin on the cover of Vogue China. She looks frickin’ amazing.
Cara Delevingne by Patrick Demarchelier for Vogue Japan. Sure, this is a bit boring by Vogue Japan standards, and Cara always looks miserable, but I like her dress and her hair.
Daria Werbowy by Patrick Demarchelier for British Vogue. I love that she is wearing real clothes that someone might actually buy, and she looks beautiful.
Sasha Pivovarova by Mert & Marcus for Vogue Russia, Could this be any more stereotypical for a Russian magazine? A sexy girl wearing Versace in what looks like a steamy nightclub. Yikes.
Victoria Beckham on the cover of Vogue Australia. “Posh, Powerful, Provocative.” How about “Pathetic, Pointless, Plain.”
Zooey Deschanel by Tesh on the cover of Marie Claire. She doesn’t look good.
Jennifer Aniston shot by Alexei Hay for Glamour. If I see one more Jennifer Aniston cover with a headline including the words “fiancé” or “happiness” then I am going to SCREAM.
Drew Barrymore by Michaelangelo Di Battista for InStyle. What kind of photographer makes the lovely Drew Barrymore look THIS BAD?
Katy Perry by Mariano Vivanco for Elle UK. I’m so over her. Does she even sing songs anymore?
Cara Delevingne by Mert & Marcus for W Magazine. I could have been ok with this but she looks so miserable, the makeup looks too brown, and one of the headlines actually says “totally major” – the words which are enough for me to boycott this magazine for the rest of my life.
