Diane von Furstenberg Spring Summer 2014

New York isn’t off to a very exciting start, although I guess we don’t go to Diane von Furstenberg for excitement, we go for great dresses and in that department she succeeded. I would have just liked to see a few less boring separates and trashy Cavalli-esque pieces.

I love…

a pantsuit that actually looks classy. But who am I kidding, hardly anyone would actually look good in this.

cute red strap details and a model that is smiling! Hallelujah!

the first time in a while I actually like a cropped top. Unfortunately, most women don’t look like this when they wear them.

the way Diane von Furstenberg can still make the wrap dress look interesting.

beautiful prints.

I loathe…

when DVF looks like trashy Roberto Cavalli.

I usually agree with you 100% but I think (this time) you may have been blinded by the beautiful smile! Those red straps end low enough on the chest that they look like oversized, misplaced clown-nipples to me. Wow, it’s great to see a smile, though!

You’re right that dress isn’t totally spectacular. Crazy what a smile can do, hey?
