Given the sometimes significant difference between runway clothes and the final retail version of the product, how would you say that compares to runway shoes? Are they created for theatrics to the same extent or less?

They are definitely toned down for production. Sadly.

I adore the rainbow wedges, they make me think of the famous Ferragamo rainbow shoes!

That is exactly what I was thinking! But different, in a good way.

I would kill for those Tom Ford boots. Been looking for a tall lace boot for ages.
