Marni Spring Summer 2014

Marni reminds me of Narciso Rodriguez in that both brands have a very strong aesthetic that they don’t stray from, and it almost always results in beautiful collections. From a runway perspective, this wasn’t exactly a ground breaking show since it is pretty much the same formula they always use. But from a fashion point of view, it is great because Marni obviously doesn’t feel the need to bow to trends or try and appease everyone. If you are a texture and colour-loving woman who wants to wear a statement print with a bright coloured piece of costume jewelry and a chunky shoe and bag, then you are in the right place.

I love…

perfect Marni: an interesting but wearable dress, good-looking and practical accessories, topped off with colourful, chunky jewelry.

That last textured look is off the charts.
