Milan Spring Summer 2014 Shoes

There was some pretty good footwear on the Milan catwalks, so here are my faves. Check our London runway shoes and New York runway shoes.

I love…

everything about this Fendi shoe. It is perfect.

Alberta Ferretti’s sexy pumps. Ribbon around the ankle is almost always a winner in my book.

chunky fun at Jil Sander. I like a high shoe that actually looks really easy to walk in.

milan fashion week, catwalk, runway show, review, critic, spring summer 2014, shoes, marco de vincenzo

the way this Marco de Vincenzo shoe has “ears.”

a bizarre flip flop at Marni. This would make a great boardwalk shoe.

milan fashion week, catwalk, runway show, review, critic, spring summer 2014, shoes, salvatore ferragamo

the way this Salvatore Ferragamo shoe has a fin. What a cool, simple and interesting design feature.

the Versace SS14 shoes. The platform, metal tips, chunky buckles, and this leather sock are something else.

Yes to the Ferretti and Ferragamo pumps. The Versace ones are out there, would totally love to wear them occasionally as a conversational piece.

I also liked the most of shoes at Prada.
