New York Spring Summer 2014 was a pretty boring and/or depressing fashion week and the shoes certainly didn’t put me in the mood to take out my credit card, but here are a few good ones.
Lots of fun summer colours and a super cool but practical chunky heel at Tommy Hilfiger.
a strappy shoe from band of Outsiders. This is nothing special, but the kind of piece I’d wear a lot over the summer.
an awesome heel at Calvin Klein, and I love the two-toned platform, too.
another good-looking practical shoe, this time from Donna Karan. They might not be exciting, but at least they are wearable.
asymetrical pointy toe stilettos at J Mendel. And I like how the sheer trend in clothing has translated to shoes here, it is quite sexy.
another sexy strappy shoe, this time by Narciso Rodriguez. But just looking at all these pointy toes makes my toes feel squished.
a chunky power shoe from Peter Som.
the way the straps go around the heel on this Prabal Gurung shoe. I have a pair of Michel Perry shoes from fifteen years ago that are very similar – think it might be time to take them out of the closet?
an awesomely chunky platform and heel from Proenza Schouler.
mixing neon colours with tan.
mixing neon colours with tan part 2.
big grey soles at Theykens Theory.
