I always expect to be bored/disappointed/confused about a Proenza Schouler show, so I guess I can count this one as a success because I liked a few things. On that note, there were also a lot of crappy things, and I’m still perplexed at the amount of coverage these designers get. They aren’t that good.
the shape of this jacket and the way the print kind of hides all the interesting tailoring lines, but you know there is something exciting going on there.

when a Proenza Schouler catwalk look resembles something out of a lame women’s clothing catalogue. They don’t need a fancy New York catwalk show if they are designing stuff like this.
anything that makes someone look like an extra from Sesame Street.
