Alexander McQueen Spring Summer 2014

I guess the Alexander McQueen shows are now just a theatrical production that they put on for fun, and all the real clothing goes straight into the showroom. I’m not impressed, and I don’t think the brand’s founder would be, either. Sarah Burton is meant to be carrying a torch for him, not throwing it to the wayside.

I love…

a leather skirt suit with a lot of detailing.

I loathe…

the warrior punk look.

that I am sure if you got to look at this dress up close, it might be quite incredible, but from my view, it’s boring as hell.

this silly outfit.

when a woman is dressed with straight up and down lines. We have curves.

What is the point of this brand anymore? There’s no heart without Lee. It’s a parade of craft without any real purpose or substance.

“parade of craft” – well said!

Is this really the same designer that is one of Kate Middleton’s favourites? The last model has more bone than she does flesh. Is this a fashion line or a Halloween line?

If it is a Halloween line – then it is quite good!

Yes, I don’t know what the point is. I guess they make all their money from the resort and pre-Fall collections.
